design for high-end medical devices
Gimmi approached tile. with the goal of creating 3D product videos capable of presenting its products in a more dynamic, premium and visually engaging way. The brand needed content that could go beyond static product imagery and communicate design, functionality and value through motion.

the challenge
The main challenge was to communicate product value without relying only on traditional product photography or basic promotional content. Gimmi needed videos that could show the product with precision, but also with enough movement, atmosphere and visual rhythm to capture attention in digital environments.
Because of the technical nature of the devices, the process required extensive research before defining the final visual direction. We needed to understand how the product works, which details were essential to highlight and how to communicate its value without oversimplifying or misrepresenting its engineering. The videos had to balance visual appeal with technical precision, ensuring that the final result felt premium, trustworthy and aligned with the expectations of a medical technology audience. The project therefore required a careful combination of research, technical interpretation, product storytelling and motion design. Every camera angle, animation, material choice and lighting decision had to support a more accurate and compelling representation of the device, helping Gimmi communicate both the sophistication of the product and the expertise behind it.
the strategy
Our strategy was to approach the project as a technical storytelling challenge, not simply as a 3D product video production. Because Gimmi develops high end engineered medical devices, the visual direction had to be built on a strong understanding of the product, its purpose and the technical context behind it.
Visually, the direction needed to feel clean, high end and medically credible. The videos had to communicate innovation without becoming too abstract, and technical expertise without becoming cold or confusing. By balancing research, 3D visualization, motion design and product storytelling, tile. created a visual system capable of presenting Gimmi’s medical devices with clarity, accuracy and impact.
our solution
The final result was a set of 3D product videos that combined technical research, product storytelling and premium visual execution. The videos gave Gimmi a stronger way to present its devices across digital and commercial touchpoints, supporting brand perception, product education and professional communication.

AlphaScope II
Gimmi approached tile. to create a complete 3D render video for AlphaScope II, a high precision laparoscope designed for advanced medical environments. The project focused on presenting the device’s different versions, models, features and real life use cases through a clear, premium and technically accurate visual experience.
Because AlphaScope II is a highly engineered medical device, the video needed to communicate more than appearance. It had to show the product’s precision, functionality and practical value while making complex technical details easier to understand for professional and commercial audiences.

AlphaSmart DuoLap Insufflator
Gimmi also partnered with tile. to create digital product visuals for AlphaSmart DuoLap, an insufflator designed to be integrated into a medical laparoscopic tower. The project focused on representing the product with technical accuracy, clarity and a premium visual standard suitable for a high end medical device.
We created the product renders, 3D models and demonstration visuals needed to present AlphaSmart DuoLap in a realistic digital environment. These assets helped show the product’s design, proportions, interface and integration within a professional medical setup, making it easier to communicate its function and value across digital, commercial and institutional touchpoints.
